12-15-97: University of Houston chooses Academic Audit for Windows as their new student advising solution.

09-02-97: Academic Audit for Windows ver. 1.1 has been released. Enhancements include better integration with TransferPro and comprehensive online help. The distribution file for the Paradox Engine version is available from our FTP directory. The file, AAP11.EXE, is password-encrypted. Call IronSoft at 1-888-999-4770 for the password.

01-23-97: Carnegie-Mellon University has contracted with IronSoft to do a campus-wide implementation of Academic Audit. IronSoft will set up over 400 degree plans going back four catalog years. Carnegie-Mellon students will be able to check their progress over the World-Wide-Web. Their system is expected to be online for the first summer semester.

01-06-97: A new build of Academic Audit for Windows has been placed in our FTP directory. This one includes an automated installation program and fixes several minor bugs. The filename is ACAUDP.EXE, and the file is encrypted. Call IronSoft at 1-888-999-4770 for the password.

10-18-96: Clinch Valley College is the latest school to install Academic Audit for Windows. In only 4 days, their entire catalog (1 year, 18 majors) was up and running.

10-7-96: Academic Audit for Windows is released. Schools who purchased the DOS version between Jan 1, 1995 and now are entitled to a free upgrade. Special upgrade pricing is available for schools who purchased Academic Audit prior to 1/1/95.

7-23-96: IronSoft is now providing live, online demonstrations of the soon-to-be-released Windows version of Academic Audit. If you would like to arrange a demonstration, contact Dave Glasser at 1-888-999-4770 or dglasser@pobox.com and then download and install the trial version of Remotely Possible, an excellent remote control package for Windows by Avalan Technology. You can get the Windows 95 version here, or the 16 bit, Windows 3.1 version here. In addition, you'll need a direct connection to the Internet or at least a 28.8k modem.

4-27-96: Carnegie Mellon and IronSoft announce plans to create a next-generation degree audit system. Students will now have secure access to degree audits over the World Wide Web. The system will run off of a SQL database to handle heavy registration-time student use. Contact IronSoft to become part of this effort.

3-22-96: Connectix Videophone Viewer is in the archive section. We will be using this, along with Carbon Copy for Windows to do tech support for our Windows products.

3-10-96: Academic Audit 3.0 (Test Release 2) is in the archive section. A few bugs having to do with formatting of reports have been fixed. Call IronSoft at 1-888-999-4770 for the password to unlock the software.

3-5-95: The documentation for Academic Audithas been placed in our FTP directory in Adobe Portable Document format. This allows you to make original laser prints of the documentation rather than photocopies. To view and print the documentation, you'll need to get the freely distributed reader program, Adobe Acrobat Reader, at http://w1000.mv.us.adobe.com/Acrobat/readstep.html .

3-2-96: Academic Audit 3.0 (Test Release) is in the archive section. All known bugs have been fixed, and if no additional bugs are found, this will be renamed Academic Audit 3.0 (Final Release). Call IronSoft at 1-888-999-4770 for the password to unlock the software.

1-12-96: TransferPro™, our long-awaited transfer evaluation program for the Microsoft Windows 3.x/95 platform, has been officially released.
